Analytical tools and third-party tools
SSL and TLS encryption
For security reasons and to safeguard the transmission of confidential information which you send to us as the website operator (for example orders or inquiries), this website uses SSL and TLS encryption. You can tell that a connection is encrypted if “http://” changes to “https://” in your browser’s address box. A padlock icon should also appear in your browser bar.
When SSL and TLS encryption is activated, third parties are not able to read data which you send to us.
We mostly use session cookies, which are automatically deleted once you have left our website. Other cookies will be stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit the website.
You can adjust the settings on your browser so that you are notified about cookies being stored. You have the option to only allow cookies on a case-by-case basis, to accept cookies in certain cases, to not allow cookies as a general rule or to set your device to automatically delete cookies whenever you close your browser. Please note that if you deactivate cookies, you may not be able to take advantage of the full functionality of this website.
Cookies that are required for electronic communications or the provision of specific functions requested by you are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies in order to ensure that their services are provided optimally and without any technical issues.
Server log files
The provider of our website automatically collects and saves information in server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us.

This data will not be combined with other data sources.
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, which permits data processing for the purpose of performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
When you send us inquiries via our contact form, we will store the information that you provide via the form, including your contact details, for the purpose of processing your inquiry and handling follow-up questions. We will not pass these data on to third parties without your consent.
We process the data which you provide via the contact form solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time. Simply email us at email@example.com. The lawfulness of data processing up to this point will not be affected by your withdrawal of consent.
The data which you provide via the contact form will be stored by us until you request that they be erased, until you withdraw your consent to this data being stored, or until the purpose for which the data is stored no longer applies. Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular retention periods — will remain unaffected by this.
Analytics and advertising
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that Google will anonymise your IP address within member states of the European Union and in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting information to the USA. In exceptional cases only, the full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and anonymised there. Google will use this information on behalf of the website operator for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to usage of the website and the internet for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.
You can prevent these cookies being stored by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, we wish to point out that doing so may mean you will not be able to enjoy the full functionality of this website. Commissioned data processing
We have signed an agreement on commissioned data processing with Google and are fully compliant with the stringent requirements of the German data protection authorities regarding the use of Google Analytics.
Peschel Communications GmbH uses the services of sendinblue for newsletter campaigns. Sendinblue GmbH is a company under German law and subject to German data protection laws.
The newsletter software sendinblue is used. Your data will be transmitted to sendinblue GmbH. sendinblue is prohibited from selling your data or using them for any purposes other than sending newsletters. sendinblue is a certified German provider, which has been selected in accordance with the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

We use sendinblue to analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent by sendinblue, a file included in the email (called a web beacon) connects to sendinblue’s servers in Germany. This allows us to determine if a newsletter message has been opened and which links you click on. In addition, technical information is collected (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type, and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to a specific recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of our newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses help us to better tailor future newsletters to the interests of our recipients.
If you do not want sendinblue to analyse how you use the newsletter, please unsubscribe. We include an unsubscribe link in every newsletter we send. Alternatively, you may send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 GDPR. You may object to this at any time by unsubscribing to the newsletter. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of data processing prior to this point.
Conclusion of a data processing agreement
